A team of Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime unit of Dhaka Metropolitan Police arrested six suspected members of banned extremist outfit ‘Neo-JMB’.
The team arrested them in a raid from New Market area in the capital on Sunday night, said a text message of police.

Law enforcers detained three alleged extremists, including two siblings, from a suspected hideout they cordoned off at village Dangapara of Tanore upazila in Rajshahi early Monday.
The three alleged extremists are -- Israfil Alam, 26, his elder brother Ibrahim, 34, and son-in-law Rabiul Islam,35, of the village Dangapara.

Bangladesh Railway has started selling advance train tickets on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, the biggest religious festival of the Muslims.
