Bangladesh Railway has started selling advance train tickets on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, the biggest religious festival of the Muslims.
Tickets for June 21 journeys are available on Monday. Each passenger will be able to buy maximum four tickets.
Huge crowd in long queues were seen at Kamalapur railway station on the first day for advance train tickets, reports UNB.
Around 30,000 tickets are made available than the normal day sale of train tickets, said Railway sources.
Tickets for June 22 will be available on Tuesday on the second day of sale while for June 23 on June 14, for June 24 on June 15 and for June 25 on June 16.
Besides, the return tickets for the journeys of June 28 will be available on June 19, and for June 29 on June 20, for June 30 on June 21, for July 1 on June 22 and for July 2 on June 23.
